Multi-Award-Winning Entrepreneur | Speaker | Founder of Tape UK

Imran Savas is a British entrepreneur, speaker and founder of Tape UK, recognised more than 25 times for his work in business, leadership and social impact including Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2024 and 2026.

But what sets him apart isn't the awards, it's the consistency between what he says and what he does: he's turned down major investment, walked away from deals that didn't align with his values, and spoken openly on racism, politics, faith and government action even when it's cost him.

He's built a career on one idea — that success isn't measured by what you accumulate, but by the lives you improve.

About Imran Savas

Imran Savas

Built From Scratch, The Journey So Far

Imran Savas is a multi-award-winning British entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of Tape UK.

He built Tape UK into a national, award-winning business from nothing — no investment, no co-founder, no safety net, no privileged starting point. Emerging from a single-parent household, he founded the company in 2019 with little more than a clear vision and an unshakeable work ethic, growing it into a multi-award-winning platform that now serves entrepreneurs and small businesses across the UK.

Imran Savas has been recognised more than 25 times for his contributions to business, leadership and social impact including Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2024 and 2026. He's appeared on BBC, ITV and Islam Channel, was featured alongside Annie Lennox and Levi Roots in the official MBCC 10-year publication, and delivered a TEDx talk later promoted on TED.com alongside Bill Gates, Simon Sinek and Mel Robbins.

Twice, he's been offered substantial corporate investment. Twice, he's said no because his business, and his independence, have never been for sale.

But the accolades tell only part of the story. Whether the subject is entrepreneurship, leadership, faith, politics, humanitarian issues or social justice, Imran Savas is known for his willingness to challenge conventional thinking in pursuit of better outcomes for people, businesses and society.

Through business, public speaking and writing, Imran Savas encourages entrepreneurs, leaders, organisations and communities to think differently, lead with greater purpose, and leave the world better than they found it.

Success, he believes, is measured not by what we accumulate, but by the lives we improve.

Why He Stands Out, The Difference

Most founders chase investment. Imran Savas has twice turned it down because outside capital would have meant compromising the purpose Tape UK was built on. He's also walked away from business opportunities that didn't align with his values, choosing principle over profit even when it cost him growth. What makes him genuinely rare isn't the awards.

It's the consistency between what he says and what he does.

He speaks openly on subjects most business owners avoid — racism, politics, religion, and the actions of governments — even when it's uncomfortable, unpopular, or bad for business.

When COVID-19 hit, just a year into business, he told his entire client base not to pay and kept serving them at his own expense, because it was the right thing to do.

When he won Entrepreneur of the Year at the MBCC Awards in 2024, he used the stage to speak for the people of Palestine and received a standing ovation.

In 2026, he won the same award again and made the same choice.

And after losing his mother, the community he'd spent years genuinely caring for came together to fund a clean water well in her memory.

These aren't isolated moments from someone who performs his values when convenient. They're proof of a man who decided what he stands for and stands by it, even when it costs him something.

Imran Savas

More Than a Business, A Bigger Purpose

Since founding Tape UK in 2019, Imran Savas has been recognised more than 25 times, including back-to-back Entrepreneur of the Year titles and a spot on the Sunday Times' Top 50 Most Ambitious Leaders list.

His TEDx talk was promoted to the main TED platform alongside Bill Gates and Simon Sinek, and he's been featured across the BBC, ITV and major national press.

Beyond the trophies, the number he's proudest of is Tape UK's 99% client retention rate — proof that the recognition follows the work, not the other way around.

For Imran Savas, success was never just about profit. One percent of every Tape UK client fee funds clean water projects, tree planting and newborn support in underserved communities worldwide.

On stage, he's used his platform to speak on humanitarian causes close to his heart, including advocacy for Palestinian children, even when it's meant public discomfort or a quieter year for the business.

Off stage, he mentors founders who remind him of where he started — because for Imran, the real measure of success has always been what you make possible for someone else.

I came to Imran Savas at a point where I was seriously considering walking away from my business. Three years in, growing but exhausted, questioning whether any of it was worth it.

What I needed was not more strategy — I had plenty of that. What I needed was someone like Imran Savas, who had been through the difficult parts of business and come out with their values intact. I needed someone who could sit across from me and say, with authority, that it was worth continuing and here is why. Imran Savas did that. He also helped me restructure how I was spending my time, how I was leading my team, and how I was thinking about the next chapter. I am still in business. It is the best decision I have made in three years.
